Chathannur Grama Panchayat is committed to ensuring that all development activities and government services approved by the governing body are delivered continuously, efficiently, and on time to the public. With the cooperation of elected representatives and staff, the Panchayat strives to provide services effectively, ensuring complete public satisfaction, and to continuously improve its functioning through dedicated efforts.
Chathannur Grama Panchayat – Mission
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of services under the Right to Service Act 2012, achieving public satisfaction.
- Ensure proper waste management and elimination of plastic in compliance with green protocols.
- Achieve 100% collection of taxes and fees to ensure financial stability and sustainable development.
- Promote public participation by forming groups and conducting workshops for development activities and asset protection.
- Ensure 100% public participation in Gram Sabha meetings.
- Complete 100% maintenance works such as roads and tap/water-related works under the Panchayat.
- Implement development activities in an environmentally friendly manner.
- Ensure practical sanitation systems in schools.
- Increase public participation in the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) and strengthen agricultural activities as part of the Haritha Keralam Mission.
- Enhance employment opportunities through development projects.
